I'm having trouble seeing my Lin Lakeside profile, so you cannot add me to your facebook/myspace page. On Friday, bring in the grade sheet and make sure it has your user and password. Sorry about the confusion.
Mr.Lin
About 75% of you voted Spongebob Squarepants as the most popular cartoon character of all time, but actually Bugs Bunny is #1. Homer Simpsons came in at # 2 and at #3 is Mickey Mouse. For the article see this link:
As we go into the Renaissance, it's going to be very exciting as we're going to learn about some really cool people and art. Hopefully with the Facebook/Myspace project you guys will create some cool profile for some of these people, who passed away a long time ago but never had a chance to make their own pages. After the Renaissance, we will be going into the Reformation.
I understand that we will be talking about Christianity alot in class, but do not feel uncomfortable if you're not Christian. This is a touchy subject and you don't have to be Christian to understand this. Feel free to talk to me if you feel uncomfortable about the subject.
Added the "Assignments" Page, please see this page for updated Table of Contents, lecture notes and class assignments. *Just added the study guide for the Mayan Inca Aztec Unit. Also see Achievements for the worksheet answers.
The Trimester is ending soon, so please get all your makeup assignments in by Thursday of this week. Additionally, you can make comments and responses only until Friday in order to receive extra credit.
Mr.Lin
Please check the Discussion page, it has been updated every 3-4 days with great comments by you guys. I will post new topics every couple of days, so check often!

Walking random in dim light,
Sweet cookies baking.
This website is for my 7th grade World History 4th and 5th period class, where we can further discuss interesting things about our history unit. I have posted a discussion page, where we can respond to my posts and your comments. I hope that my posts are thoughtful and that it will inspire you to think about how we can understand the importance of history in our lives. Of course, the nice thing is that you can get extra credit points for each comment and response that you make. I will monitor this site so that I can promote a good and safe environment for discussion.
Thanks,
Mr. Lin
